Ultrasonic Velocity Measurement in Liquids at Low Frequencies (<50 kHz) for Milliliter Samples

Luis Elvira-Segura

ABSTRACT A new ultrasonic resonant technique for liquid characterization in the low frequency range is presented. It is based on a waveguide theoretical model describing the acoustic propagation through the liquid and the tube walls. The small liquid samples required (<10 mL) is an important advantage over other existing techniques.
