New UFFC Volunteer Positions

  1. IUS TPC: The Technical Program Committee (TPC) of the Medical Ultrasound Group (Group1) of the IEEE International Ultrasonics Symposium is looking for an additional member. The primary responsibilities of TPC members are reviewing abstracts, assembling abstract sessions, selecting invited lecturers and basically all other activities related to building the technical program of the yearly IEEE-IUS meeting. TPC members should be established researchers (i.e. post-graduates) having a proven track record in medical ultrasound.
    If you are interested in volunteering for this position, please send a short CV (2 page max.) to the current chair of the medical ultrasound group (jan.dhooge@uzleuven.be) before March 31st 2012.
  2. The UFFC-Society is looking for professionals active in our field with an interest in developing standards, to serve as volunteers on the UFFC-S Standards Committee. This group is actively engaged in developing standards related to materials and technologies within the field of interest of the UFFC Society (click here for more information regarding UFFC-S Standards). Anyone interested in serving in this capacity should contact Jackie Hines at jhines@ieee.org
