Nara is located close to Kyoto and Osaka, approximately 40 minutes by express train. International travelers may wish to use the Kansai International Airport. The airport limousine bus service to Nara takes approximately 90 minutes.
Hotels are located within 15-30 minutes walking distance of the conference center. Taxis and buses are available.
Attendees are encouraged to make their travel plans early, including hotel reservations, since this is a popular time of the year for visitors to Nara and Japan.
The World Cup soccer tournament starts the following week at locations in Japan and Korea.
