2008 IEEE International Frequency Control Symposium

Tutorials 18 May 2008, Symposium 19-21 May 2008
Hilton Hawaiian Village Hotel, Honolulu, Hawaii, USA

An invitation from the Technical Program Chair, Dr. Kurt Gibble

The 2008 International Frequency Control Symposium will meet in Honolulu, Hawaii on May 19-21. The meeting will bring together the experts in the frequency control community from around the world. I am delighted to invite authors to submit papers presenting recent and original work in frequency control. Topics for the conference include MEMS and NEMS filters, high-stability oscillators, frequency standards and time transfer, and sensors and transducers. Please look at the call for papers for the full list of topics and submission details.

The day before the conference will feature tutorials by internationally recognized experts on a broad range of topics in frequency control. The 3 day technical meeting will include a full program of oral and poster presentations, as well as the student paper competition. We will also feature the Harry F. Tiersten Memorial Symposium with selected papers in the field of piezoelectricity.

I encourage you to submit abstracts and to participate in this outstanding international meeting. I look forward to seeing you in beautiful and scenic Hawaii!

Kurt Gibble
